Prince E. Rouse
Prince Earl Rouse, Jr. ( October 12, 1917 – August 10, 2003 〔http://www.scs.illinois.edu/~mainzv/Noyes/Noyes_Nomination.pdf List of former teaching staff at U Illinois〕〔(Family Search.org )〕) was an American physical chemist.
He obtained his PhD from the University of Illinois in 1941.
Rouse is most famous for a 1953 publication〔Prince E. Rouse, ''A Theory of the Linear Viscoelastic Properties of Dilute Solutions of Coiling Polymers'', J. Chem. Phys. 21, 1272 (1953), cited over 1000 times by 2010.〕 in which he introduced what is now known as the Rouse model of polymer dynamics.
